Role:  Research Associate - PHKH (Data)

Department:  PVC Research – School of Psychology - Bamford Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing

Grade:  Research Grade 6/7 (£33,020 - £36,654 per annum)

Responsible to:  Director of the Bamford Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing

Campus:  Belfast

Fixed-Term until 31 March 2029 / Full-Time


Job Purpose:

The postholder will lead on survey design and the development and validation of questions, and they will have responsibility for data analysis and reports and articles. The post-holder will ensure data accuracy, harmonisation, and comparability across both primary and secondary datasets in Ireland and Northern Ireland that will form part of the PHKH (Public Health Knowledge Hub), The All-Island Institute of Public Health (IPH). This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

This role is based in Northern Ireland. Routine working in the Republic of Ireland is not required. Occasional travel for meetings may arise but is not a core requirement of the role.
